I’m Lynn, a 55-year-old wife, mum, and now, a proud nana. I cherish all three roles and am deeply family-oriented—we do so much together.
I spent nearly 20 years working in education, but I always knew that when I turned 50, I would retire. It was a daunting decision, but I felt there was something new out there for me to explore.
Our family has always had a passion for holidays, travelling to different countries since our daughters were very young. Like many families, we would save all year for that special trip.
My Journey...
At 50, I did retire, but by 51, I found myself a bit restless. I realised I wanted my own income and was ready for a new challenge. Little did I know, the perfect opportunity was right in front of me. My eldest daughter, who was working in a corporate role, had a side business she ran from home. It turned out to be my new career - essentially a "business in a box." Even better, it involved travel! I became an independent travel agent, dedicated to finding, arranging, and booking holidays, along with everything else that goes with them. My life was transformed.
Fast forward four years, and I now have a thriving business with a fantastic client base. I created Voyage to Wealth and I've now introduced nearly 100 families to this same business opportunity I am part of.
Today, I earn commissions, a residual income, and am about to secure a willable income, ensuring that my children and grandchildren will benefit financially even after I'm gone.
Last year, my husband underwent intensive cancer treatment, and my business allowed me the flexibility to be by his side throughout, attending every appointment and treatment. The beauty of my work is that I can do it from anywhere, at any time, on my own schedule.
